Shasta is our 7 1/2 year old baby. She has
completed the 26 week chemo treatment, but a
month later the oncologist found a growth near her
spleen. He has sent a sample for testing and we
will get the results in a couple of days. She is the
love of our lives and we want her around for many
more years. Please pray that the test results are
benign, and that she will remain happy and healthy
with us on Earth for many more years.

HER TO A SPECIALIST SHE HAD LOST WEIGHT

BUT SHE IS ONLY FOUR YEARS OLD AND SHE IS
A FIGHTER. I PRAY OVER HER AND FOR HER ALL

Madison relapsed from remission in January and
became too sick from rescue treatments to
continue them. Her doctor gave her 6 weeks
to live in January, but she is still alive and fairly well
in June. She is thin, but I believe she is still happy.
Please keep her in your thoughts for me. Our 2

gone.

Please pray for our dog, Beasley. We discovered a
large mass on her bladder on May 27th, and 2
days later she underwent exploratory surgery to
remove the mass. Our vet has confirmed that the
mass was a hemangiosarcoma and that this type
of cancer is very aggressive and that her remaining
life will most probably be measured in days to a few
months. Please pray for her!

My Zoee-bear got diagnosed a few weeks ago with
a tumour in her pelvis/right leg. She has been
limping on three legs and her pain is increasing. I
fear that I am forced to live out my nightmare and
put her down. There's nothing any vet can do. She
has been the sweetest, spunkiest, most energetic
and playful puppy ever. Her best friend, Zack got
diagnosed with Lymphoma just a few weeks
before her. I love them both so much, they are the
absolute two love's of my life, and I can't imagine
life without them. Hoping for a couple of miracles!!!

Zoey was diagnosed in March 2008. She was
given Ceeno, Prednisone, Denosyl & Marin. She
was more sick 7 days after taking all these pills.
We stopped all medications except the
Prednisone. We've changed her diet and she is
amazingly doing well. Some signs of onset are
now showing, so pray for her. We love our little girl.
She'll be 8
years old in June.

Tuesday May 6th at home. I hope she went quickly

hemangiosarcoma yesterday morning following a
splenectomy. I'm feverishly researching what I
should give him since I can't give up. I've started
him on Essiac Tea,
cottage cheese w/organic flax oil, and will be
starting tomorrow with Hill's N/D until I can come
up with a better alternative. I'm searching for a
holistic vet. He's 12 and is our love. Please pray
that we have more time with him--measured in

My dearest Sugar Pop was diagnosed last year
with a very rare tumor of the adrenal glands called
a pheochromocytoma. It was HUGE and had
invaded extensively into one of her major arteries,
but it didn't
seem to be causing her any overt problems. Plus,
this cancer is almost never metastatic. So, she's
just been living with her tumor. Then, this past
month she was diagnosed with an oral squamous
cell carcinoma and had a good deal of her lower
jaw removed. However, they weren't able to get it
all. Now, they are trying to determine if it has
metastasized, and if not, whether I should put her
through 18 rounds of radiation to try and kill the
rest of the remaining cancer. I don't know what to
do. What if she died from her adrenal tumor while
she was undergoing radiation for this cancer?
But, what if I denied her the radiation treatment,
and she dies from the squamous cell carcinoma?
I just don't know what to do. Please pray for Sugar
Pop. And, pray for me that I may make the right
decision for her.

her to an emergency vet clinic & they took x-rays.
They found a mass on her spleen & even though it
doesn't appear to have spread, they think it has. If
they operated, she will live 3 wks to 2 mths. We
brought her home instead. She's been fine since.
They told us she will live 4 wks or less but will be
pain-free. We're taking her to our reg. vet along with
the x-rays tomorrow for his opinion. We are very
upset about this. Lady doesn't help matters
because she sits right next to me licking my face
while I'm crying. Please pray that it's benign,
please.

Bladder cancer

Diagnosed April 10, 2008. He is 10 yr. 7 mo. & was
diagnosed with Diabetes at age 3 1/2 months old.
His Diabetes has been very well controlled up to
now. Now, his blood glucose readings are higher
than should be. I've had to up his insulin. Is this
normal? Thank you.

Our 9yo golden was diagnosed on April 1st. After a
long night of research and sites such as this, we
opted for the multiple chemo protocol...with the
promise made to Flash..we would not allow him to
suffer. After a month, he is doing really well...with a
healthy diet of chicked, beef, salmon, and
sardines in his high protein dry food. He appears
to be happy...but at times, I feel that he knows
whats going on. I cannot imagine him not being by
my side....but we agreed not to hold on to him if he
begins to suffer...thats the hard part. He is my
child...I just hope that when the time comes, I am
as strong and brave as he
has always been.
Our nine year old golden was diagnosed on April
1st...after we felt a swollen node in his neck. We
are treating with the multiple chemo protocol...He
seems to be doing really well, a bit of hair
loss....but is eating enough for three dogs. He gets
chicken, sardines, beef, and all the lamb treats he
wants. I cannot imagine life without him...He is our
son...my camping buddy. The tough part will be
deciding when he is suffering. We promised him
the day we rescued him from the pound (8 years
ago) that he would never suffer....ever. I hope we
can be as strong as he is.

Bone cancer (osteosarcoma)

Nina (12) began limping and we thought it was just
from slipping on the stairs, but it continued. An
x-ray at the vet revealed bone cancer, this was 3
weeks ago. We are very very heartbrokern, but we
are giving her LOTS of love and extra treats. We
rescued her about 9 years ago and we gave her a
great life in return we were fortunate enough to
receive her love and loyalty. She is doing pretty
well right now, no pain, so we are grateful. She
still likes her walks and being outside. We will
miss her so so deeply. Until then, we keep loving
her and
appreciating her. Thank you for praying for this
beautiful spirit, my little Nina.

Soft tissue sarcoma
|
My vet just got the lab results back with the soft
tissue sarcoma, Grade 1 diagnosis. The lump
was located at Lucky's elbow. The vet made wider
margins at the time of 1st surgery but the
pathologist's report says the mass extends to the
margins of submitted tissue. So now my decision
is whether to put Lucky through another surgery for
wider margins. There is a naturopathic vet in
Portland that I'm checking with first to see what he
says. Either way it isn't a good diagnosis. I want
him to have a good quality of life most of all. He is
a very sweet soul.
